As the year draws to a close, we at Valucop Global find ourselves reflecting on an incredible journey through 2024. It has been a year filled with milestones, growth, and impactful moments that shaped not only our community but also the individuals within it. From groundbreaking educational sessions to meaningful partnerships, we’ve built bridges that connect people to the transformative power of Web3.

Building Knowledge, One Session at a Time
Education has always been at the heart of Valucop, and this year was no different. Through our Web3 Diaries, WCAP sessions (Web3 Career Advancement Program) and the newly introduced Web3 Valudemy, we brought Web3 knowledge to life for hundreds of eager learners through speakers like Deborah Chidiebere, Emmanuel Etim, Netrovert, to mention but a few.
We explored the intricacies of cryptocurrency, wallet setups, and trading basics. With experts like Senator Bob and Defi Baker leading the charge, attendees learned the ropes of centralized and decentralized exchanges, security, and portfolio management. These sessions have been split into playlists for yoir convenience.
Highlights:
• October Web3 Valudemy: Sessions ranged from “Introduction to Cryptocurrency” to “Crypto Airdrops Explained.”
• Developer Bootcamps: Developers dove deep into Solana smart contracts, Rust programming, and decentralized applications.
• Personal Growth Stories: Mr. Frost, a superteam bounty winner, inspired us with his journey through the Web3 space.
These sessions weren’t just about education; they were about empowerment. Each participant left equipped with tools to navigate the ever-evolving Web3 landscape.
Club Activities
Due to the division of our community into different clubs, we engaged them in sessions tailored to their interests, bringing in speakers who have towed that path and are profiting financially from it

Outlining successful growth strategies, metrics, analysis and community engagement with Godswill Akpan, Evans Nwaozuzu, Willo Patrick.
- Writing sessions:
Exploring niches in Technical & copy writing with Ileolami and Kay D Copywriter

Celebrating People, Building Communities
At Valucop, our community isn’t just a number—it’s a family. This year, we celebrated 13 birthdays, honoring individuals like Franklin Peter, the blockchain oracle, and Sara Idahosa, founder of Women in DeFi.
We also spotlighted members who went above and beyond, such as Christian Elekwachi and Jon Samuel. Their contributions reminded us that it’s the people who make Valucop special.
Community WINS!
Some of our community members like Calsey, Syncie, Mr Frost, won contests and bounties from different blockchain networks and Web 3 communities like Superteam, Lisk, letsexchange_io, and many others just by application of their skill set and knowledge of Web 3.
Of course, we have a contest king in our midst who has accumulated over $625 from winning Web 3 contests. Others got their desired jobs, Upskilled and this is so important to us because it shows proof of “our value first, money next mantra!”
Our clubs—ranging from the Community Builders Club to the Writers Club—continued to thrive, providing spaces for members to connect, collaborate, and grow.

• Clubs: Small but mighty, with focused growth in writing, marketing, and design.
Moments That Defined Us
2024 was also a year of milestones and memories. Who could forget the International Women’s Day “Just Us Ladies” session? Or the vibrant discussions during Twitter Spaces, where over 1,500 listeners tuned in to learn about Web3 careers?
We also hosted contests that sparked creativity and innovation. From the Growth Strategy Thread to the Builders Idea Contest, members showcased their talents and walked away with well-deserved prizes.
Our community members featured as speakers, hosts, and attendees in events like Web 3 Lagos conference and Borderless 3.0.
Youtube Strides
Following a decision to stream all our sessions on YouTube via Huddle01 which is a Web3 Live Streaming platform; we recorded. 685 new YouTube subscribers
98% male, majority from Nigeria, 6.7% from United States and 0.5% from the Philippines

Partnerships & Grants That Propelled Us Forward
This year, we strengthened our network through partnerships, notably with Buildhubb.
We won a grant from Superteam Nigeria that helped us support our community.
Moreover we had the singular honor to be one of the community partners for the Starknet Lagos Conference held in May and Web 3 Connect Organised by Caspade, in June. These shows proof of our unwavering support for other web 3 communities
These collaborations have been instrumental in expanding our reach and providing our community with access to resources that fuel growth and innovation.
Welcoming New Members
In addition to our community’s organic growth, we’re excited to share that we welcomed 52 new website sign ups this year. Each new member brings fresh perspectives and enthusiasm, enriching our collective journey in the Web3 space.
